15 years is not a short period. The Team changes a lot and all our lives change a lot. We met in the University, we traced girls, we found our first jobs, we built our own families, we earned our living and some of us have their next generations. After all these, I am really grateful that we can still playing football together with each others. I really wish that we could keep on doing this as long as we can. I myself enjoy very much the writing and the reading of The History of Dogs United Football Club. I hope you enjoy it too. Here, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the following:- Football, the most exciting sport. I don’t think I would love to play basketball or badminton though I did play both with other Dogs in the Shatin Shelter. Football, no matter watching it or playing it, is an important part of my life. The Team, which makes it possible. I like to play football with every single one of you. I enjoy having fun and sharing joy with all of you. Being together itself means everything. I wish you enjoy yourselves in Dogs United and I wish you love football more because of the Team. My Family, where I came from. I am not strong on sports and I never play my football well. What I deeply appreciate is the way they feed me. I am no way to be perfect but I love the way I grown up and what they make me to be. Being able to play football with my brother and father is really the priceless treasure I could even get. Yvonne, my better half. Without her understanding and support, it would not be possible for me to write The History. Or, it would not be possible for the Team to last that long. Yes, I am serious. To certain extent, it was she who brought me back from the Dark Age. And her love shows me the meaning of life. I love you all. And, Today is History. |
