EPISODE XVI
More Dogs (Part 3)
|
2005 not only marked the start of the new era but also the official joining of various new Dogs. Among them, there are quite some skillful and strong players:- Dennis , introduced by Jackie. No one really remember how Dennis came into the Team but everyone wants to see him playing thereafter. He is one of the BEST center half the Team even had. Not only because he saved the Team several time single-handed but he shows the “heart” the Team highly appreciated. He doesn’t like talking off the pitch but he will give timely advice on the pitch. He is the John Terry kind who really walks the talks. It is unknown to the Team what other team he is playing for. But, no doubt we believe that he is capable of playing for any. Besides a big asset to the Team. He is a fans of Man United and England (a very good choice):-
Among the squad, Joe provides the biggest challenge to the fitness coach. No matter what the coach does, he never seems able to find a way to improve the physical condition of Joe, not to mention maintaining him in match fitness. No one really knows the reason why he was being introducing to the Team until he took out his Canon Digital SLR camera … He, in fact, is a professional photographer. If you still don’t believe me, just take a look at the below photo:-
From that moment, he becomes an essential member of the Team. Joe, please would you come and take some photo for the next match? Or better every match!
Paul takes number 26 for the Team’s fourth jersey. Though never directly confirmed with him, I believe he would like to take number 8 if it is available. 2+6 is the alternative choice. It is a shame that Paul seldom feature in competitive matches of the Team, especially on large pitch. The manager always believe that, with his long passes from both wing and his endless running, he would surely be an important asset to the Team. A nice addition to the Team indeed.
According to Jason, Kenneth plays at least 7 football matches a week and most of them are competitive matches. He plays for at least 5 different football clubs … at the same time. It is a mystery how he does that … In opposite to Paul, Kenneth seldom plays training matches with the Team. After all, he can’t spare more time with his ever busy football schedule anymore.
The Team becomes stronger and bigger since its re-born in 2005. The introduction of New Dogs not only guarantees the attendance of training matches but also improve the chance of winning competitive matches. A promising development … |
